CPMA Membership Requirements Membership in CPMA is open to select organizations. If you want to be part of the preeminent community of thought leaders on Corporate Portfolio Management, we would encourage you to explore membership in CPMA. Requirements for membership are straightforward and are given below: 1. Serious intent around Corporate, Project or IT Portfolio Management - Your organization must either be (1) a current practitioner of Corporate Portfolio Management or (2) actively engaged in bringing Corporate Portfolio Management to your organization currently or (3) seriously exploring Corporate Portfolio Management as a discipline worthy of adoption for your organization. 2. Be a market leader – We want those organizations who are the most progressive and considered the thought- and industry-leaders in their space. 3. Decision-maker participation - You must be the senior executive/leader/sponsor of your organization’s Corporate Portfolio Management effort. Once a member, others within the organization may access CPMA’s offerings, but it is our aim to build a community comprised of decision-makers. 4. Abide by our no spectator rule - The CPMA community only works if everyone is participating and contributing. Contribution can come in various forms, but the main aim is that every organization should be offering something back to the collective group in return for the things they derive from the organization. 5. Completion of CPMA’s member survey – This short survey is used to understand where your organization stands currently in its Corporate Portfolio Management efforts and is vital in helping CPMA develop its offerings to members.
